Will it work the same as on the S22u?

How long can it last recording before it overheats? I sold my insta360 x3 because of that overheating problem.

Files are so large and it requires so much compressing of the file when recording that the battery overheats in the unit shuts off. Additionally you’ll only get a 15 minute video before the battery is dead if it doesn’t overheat. And a 15 minute clip can be as large as 4 GB. When you use the application and download it to your phone it takes forever. And if it’s running on it’s on battery power you can forget about using the camera when you’re done transferring the file. You have to wait for the camera to cool down before returning it to its home base unit to be recharged Which takes additional time. GoPro is the very best; smaller files, better audio/ video, and it does not overheat and shut off while it use!!!!!!

I’m turning my mic into jewelry. Making a cover (without covering the mic aperture) so that the mic will look like a pendant. I also think it would be funny to put little cat ears and perhaps a pink nose on the wind muff. Live cat. Now that would be distracting.

Would never use the a7RV for professional video work, until it undergoes heavy thermal testing. My a7siii never stuttered at 4K120… inside of a burning airplane… and with the new firmware the a7siii is essentially the same thing as the FX3. You should have just held out for the Mark 2.

Sony phones have me SMITTEN ! I got the Xperia 1 ii and then the 1 iii a couple of years ago. But unfortunately I dropped my phone once while filming and the shutter button stopped working ! My warranty had just ended a month before that incident. When I went to get the phone fixed, that’s when I saw a big fatal flaw with Sony ! Their after sales support in North America is basically garbage - they have a third party contractor called SBE solutions and these guys basically are an inexperienced third party who have no access to some parts and will charge you exorbitant sums of money and won’t fix your phone. It is a total nightmare. As a creator I love the Sony phones, but they need to get their sales and after sales strategy RIGHT if they have any ambition of caching in on the North American market. It is sad to see the state of affairs. I wanted to use my phone for at least 5 years, but one simple drop changed everything - a non functioning shutter button and the wireless radio is permanently OFF (it doesn’t recognize the SIM card and it won’t let me make phone calls). I wanted to upgrade to the next pro model (pro I C) but now I’m having second thoughts 😢

It actually very logical and more common than you would think. I know of many people that sell their old cameras and used the funds to buy the new model, given that cameras are so fungible and lose their value with new models release. That being said, there’s one area where the original A7c shine over the A7c2… battery life!

Is the transmitter alone enough to pair with my android phone ? Someone mentioned to me not to pair them via Bluetooth, would there be any reason why ? And is this one of the best mics for good quality audio at that price range or is there better?

I've not used any other controller so can't comment too much except to say a/ if it's made the package more affordable for a first timer like me then I'm happy with that and b/ I've had no problems with my pixel phone overheating (UK based so maybe just not that hot) or activating any buttons on the phone. Maybe it's more of an iPhone problem than controller. Thanks again for confirming the drone and image quality should be good enough for me to get a taste of the hobby! Andrew

Hi! Hopefully someone will see this and help me with my sony zv-1 problem. So the thing is, my videos that are completely normal color in camera playback are actually too bright and over saturated in exported file (exported through sd and using Film&TV program) Anyone can help me with this issue please?

It doesn’t shoot vertical tho . Like it says it will but then when you check the video it’s still horizontal

Air 3 bulky drone,

As a one man job sound operator i do have to note that; yes holding a lav is a bit goofy. What i find more annoying though is clothing rustle, it distracts from the voice and is very intrussive especially if the mic is misplaced. I will always be more of a fan of booming everything, but when you need to use a lav and only a lav, because you are a content creator for example, please, just use the damn clip that is intended for attaching the mic to your clothing. Especially if your not looking at doing narative based stuff, placing a mic above your clothing will just sound better. Sure people will see it but you cant save audio that is bad at the source Hiding mics always means trouble unless you know what you are doing. So to all my aspiring solo doc people in this comment section talking about the mic visability if you ever do an interview and you have the headroom, just grab a C-stand and a boom. It's almost always give you a better result.
